Sachin Tendulkar rested for India Srilanka Bangladesh Tri Series

Indian Cricket News
The batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has been rested for the Tri Series to be played in Bangladesh starting from January 4. Ishant Sharma and Praveen Kumar are dropped from India's 16-member squad. S Sreesanth and Bengal pacer Ashok Dinda have been included in the ODI squad for the Tri-series announced by the BCCI after a selection committee meeting in the capital.

Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha too doesn’t make it in the Tri-series squad as the national selectors preferred leg-spinner Amit Mishra to share the spin bowling responsibilities with Harbhajan Singh. Yuvraj Singh has also been included despite a finger injury that kept him out of the four ODIs played against Srilanka in India. The fifth ODI is to be played but India has already gained a unbeatable lead in the 5 match ODI series and sealed the series.
