Tri Series 2010 Final: Srilanka beat India to clinch the Series

Tri Series Final
Chasing a target of 246 never looked difficult for Srilanka. With valuable contributions of 71 not out from Mahela Jayawardene, 55 by Sangakkara and 49 by Dilshan ensured Lanka's victory in the final of Tri Series against India.

Nothing went India's way right from the start. Overcast conditions were followed by the loss of toss for India. In no time Indian team found itself in a huge trouble with a score of 60 for 5. Suresh Raina showed extraordinary combative skills to bail India out. The 23-year-old southpaw carved out a splendid century (106) to take India to a respectable 245.

Medium-pacer Nuwan Kulasekara won the man of the match award for his brilliant 4 for 48 that rocked Indian innings. Skipper Sangakkara walked away with man of the tournament award for his great run with the bat and gloves in the series.
