As T20 cricket grabs more eye balls, it has become an integral part of all bilateral series. India will play T20 international matches against England apart from test and ODI cricket. These two teams haven't played too much of T20 international cricket against each other.

Within a span of 2007 to 2012, these two teams faced each other in five T20 matches. England has won 3 whereas India has won 2. Even though the number is only five, but these two teams have presented some memorable cricket matches!

The T20 match played in the inaugural T20 world cup was unforgettable. A high scoring match marginally won by India which included six consecutive sixes by Yuvraj Singh off the bowling of Broad. This match will always remain fresh in minds of cricket fans!

The record of highest total between these two teams in T20 match has been 218 by India in the same match mentioned above. It was played on 19th September 2007 at Durban. In the same match, England scored 200 runs and lost by 18 runs. This stays to be the second highest T20 total between these two countries.

The lowest total was scored by England - 80 runs - in the recently concluded T20 world cup played in Srilanka. That also happens to be the lowest ever T20 total by England. India's lowest total was 120 runs at Kolkata on 29th October 2011.

Kevin Pietersen has scored 171 runs in T20 matches against India. He is highest T20 run scorers from England against India. Gambhir has scored 129 runs against England to become highest T20 run scorer from India against England.

68 runs by Sehwag no 19th Sep 2007 is highest T20 individual score between these two teams. A special mention of Yuvraj Singh here who scored 58 runs in the same match in just 16 balls with 7 blistering sixes and 3 boundaries.

Harbhajan Singh has clinched 8 wickets against England. He is followed by Irfan Pathan, Finn and Dernbach taking five wickets each. Stuart Broad has maximum number of catches (5) to his name followed by 3 catches each for Gambhir, Hales and Harbhajan Singh.
