India vs England Live Streaming

India vs England live cricket streaming on Star Cricket, ESPN and Star Sports continues as England returns back to India for an ODI series. India has suffered a chain of losses at home which includes test series lost against England and a tied T20 series against the same team in December. This was followed by recently concluded ODI series where India lost to Pakistan 2-1.

India earned a little bit of confidence back when they won a low scoring game against Pakistan at Delhi. It almost seemed as if India pulled a rabbit out of the hat when they won a match by ten runs after scoring hardly 160 odd runs in first innings. India set an example of good fielding and bowling which helped them to win a match which was never theirs.

India vs England 1st ODI is to be played at Rajkot. India would love to carry on their winning momentum that they gained in Delhi. As far as the squad changes are concerned, the major change was Virender Sehwag. Due to a chain of bad performances he has been dropped and replaced by in form batsman Cheteshwar Pujara. With Indian batting line up not in good form we can expect an even stevens series here.

England pitched in a relatively inexperienced team for T20 series but now some of their experienced players are back. Alastair Cook who snatched test series from India is back with lot of plans and intentions to win the ODI series as well. He will gain support of another experienced ODI player Ian Bell. Even the likes of Pietersen, Kieswetter, Morgan, Patel, Tredwell, Dernbach, etc make a part of the England squad.

Unlike we saw in the past, now we can see bowlers dominating on the Indian pitches. We expect similar scenario in Rajkot as the pitch here also supports bowlers more than the batsmen. So another alarming situation for out of form batsmen where as a good amount of swing and turn for the seamers and spinners.

The way England XI has lost both their practice matches it seems they are taking a bit of time to get adjusted to the shortened format as was as Indian conditions after the new year break. India should take full advantage of this in atleast couple of matches to begin with. Any team would struggle if they lose couple of matches in a 5 ODI series. Let us see how India can capitalise on this or will it be England again who would rise as the better team again.
