Gautam Gambhir who has been sidelined for first two test matches now holds a big chance to prove his worth. He will lead India A against Australia in the second warm up match. He isn't performing upto the mark since the start of 2011 in test cricket. India has faced severe problems with the opening pair for test matches in the recent past. Hopefully he outperforms Australian spinners and quickies to prove a point that he still has a lot of test cricket left in him.

Meanwhile some news from the Australian camp - Australia is planning to enter the second warm up match with three spinners. Captain Clarke and dashing opener Warner would take rest as they are recovering from injuries. Ashton Agar, 19 year old lefty spinner will support Doherty and Lyon to form a strong spin front for Australia in the second practice match.

Siddle and Starc will take care of the fast bowling department and this serves Clarke an opportunity to see what combination of bowling works best for his team and which bowler brings in more difficulty for the Indian batsmen.
