Champions Trophy 2013 Practice Matches Live Score and Updates

Champions Trophy Practice Matches

Practice makes man perfect and when it comes to cricket you surely need warm up matches before you get accustomed to a particular country's climate and cricketing conditions. It is pretty sure that every single team participating in this last edition of Champions Trophy would battle it out to win the trophy. We have a round of warm up matches that would be played from 30th May to 4th June 2013. Following these matches the Champions Trophy 2013 cricket matches would kick off from 6th of June.

The players of ODI champions India look in supreme form as they all return from a long IPL journey. Other subcontinent teams like Pakistan or Srilanka could also be considered favourites as they have a strong squad as well. Reviving team like Australia is up for a tough fight. New Zealand has many swashbuckling batsmen who can turn the course of any match just like the West Indies team. South Africa is the most powerful team in the current cricket world and they hold a good chance to lift trophy exactly the way the lifted the first ever Champions trophy way back in 1998 (in Bangladesh). England eyes a big ICC event win here as they would have home support and good knowledge of the home conditions.

Pakistan plays Srilanka on 30th May
India play Srilanka and Australia play West Indies on 1st June
Pakistan face South Africa on 3rd June
India face Australia and Srilanka play West Indies on 4th June

With so many big matches lined up in the warm up stage, we have icing on the cake. It has been a long time the Indian fans have seen the 50 over format. So this has to be a refreshing series of cricket. India also plays the first match of the champions trophy which is on 6th June against South Africa.
