India vs West Indies 3rd ODI - Star Sports Provides Live Streaming in India

Ind vs WI 3rd ODI

India vs West Indies 2013 ODI series has reached an unexpected climax where the scores are leveled at 1-1 and both the teams have equal chance to clinch a series win. It was expected that home team and the world champs India would win all three but the second ODI went into the West Indies pockets! We now move on to Kanpur for the third and final ODI after which India travels to South Africa for one of the most challenging cricket tours. Stay tuned with Star Sports as they provide live cricket streaming of India vs West Indies matches in India. TV viewers in India can watch the matches live on Star Sports channels in Hindi and English.

Let us have a brief recap of 2nd ODI which was played at Vishakhapatnam. Dew would always have been an issue for team bowling second. Hence Bravo made a smart move by opting to bowl first. India got a shaky start with their star performers Dhawan and Sharma not contributing much. India lost two wickets at a score of 69. Soon Yuvraj left for a score of 28. Raina contributed 23. Again it was Kohli and Dhoni who came to the rescue and build a platform to reach a good score of 288 at the loss of seven wickets. Dhoni scored a quickfire 51 from 40 balls and stayed unbeaten.

Kohli was again the highest scorer for India who unfortunately went back to the pavilion at 99. He missed his century by just one run which was rather unfortunate. A little longer stay on the crease could have made him capitalise after his ton and India could have crossed 300! It seems we have to write a lot about Kohli in evey single post. Why not? He has been one of the best batsman this year in world cricket. Kohli's maximum runs came in the mid on region followed by fine leg, square leg and mid wicket. Overall he scored runs all over the park with least runs towards the third man and mid off area.

West Indies bowling looked better this time. Rampaul clinched four good wickets. In reply West Indies lost Charles early at an individual score of 12. Samuels was out on 8 runs. Powell scored 59 alongwith Darren Bravo who scored 50. Breakthrough partnership came from Simmons and Sammy as they scored 62 and 63 individually. Sammy stayed not out and took West Indies to a much needed win. With three balls to spare and just two wickets in hand, West Indies clinched a nail biter!

Pitch here at Kanpur for the third ODI can provide help to both bowlers and batsmen. Unlike the India Australia ODI series where we saw a lot of runs, here we see some good bowling stats as well. This ultimately is something good for cricket in the long run.

Let us see if there would be some changes in the either squads. India also has to keep a close eye on the performances of all the players as they have to soon declare a squad for South Africa. With lot of challenges ahead this year in cricket and also a lot of pride involved in this series, we expect Indian team to bounce back at Kanpur.
