India vs South Africa 2nd ODI

India takes on South Africa in the 2nd ODI at Kingsmead, Durban. I read somewhere "Green grass is awaiting Indian batsmen". Yes it clearly implies another quick and bouncy track to hamper Indian batsmen performance. This has purely been a litmus test for the world champions. Winning in South Africa is always difficult and India has already suffered a demoralising 141 runs loss in the first ODI. Cricket Country and Ten Cricket will provide live online cricket streaming in India for today's match. Ten Cricket will also broadcast the match live on TV in India.

After the first match certainly the pace battery of South Africa must have created a lot of doubts in the minds of inform batsmen Kohli, Sharma and Dhawan. Yuvraj looked miserable in the first ODI. Raina needs to stay more on the crease if he has to return to his golden touch. Dhoni as usual was excellent in the last ODI when he looked like the lone fighter. Dale Steyn stated that Indian batting order especially the middle order is pretty fragile. Kohli had different opinions. He clearly stated that none of the Indian batsmen are worried or afraid of the bounce in the South African tracks. They are all set to face the pace battery again.

Indian bowling again termed to be highly disappointing as they leaked a lot of runs especially in the death overs. A score which seemed to reach 300 ultimately landed on 350 plus. South Africa had already got a solid start from their openers. Wicketkeeper de Kock went on to score an impressive century (135 runs from 121 balls). AB de Villiers and Duminy hammered the bowling in the death overs. de Villiers scored 77 off 47 balls.

In reply, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan couldn't provide a good platform for an ideal chase. They together scored only 30 runs. (Rohit 18 ad Dhawan 12). Kohli looked promising when he started with some confident cover drives and pulls off the South African quickies. But a beautiful delivery out of the off stump from McLaren got him caught in the slips by Kallis. He scored 31. After his fall of wicket, the only resistance that came was from the evergreen MS Dhoni. He scored 65 off 71 balls with eight boundaries and one six. Indians were bowled out for 217 in 41 overs.

A lot is expected from the Indian team. This is a must win match for India. If they manage to win this 2nd ODI against South Africa, it will add some flavour to this ODI series. Let us hope for some good fight back from the Indian team that can make this ODI series enthralling!
