India vs Australia 2nd Test Live

What a match at Adelaide Oval! Full credit to Australian team to swaying the result their way after tea at day 5, but heart goes out to the Indian team who never looked so positive in an away test match. Chasing a big total, they always seemed like getting it. Till the tea at day 5, team India looked easily winning it. Probably the loss of Murali Vijay and then Kohli turned tables. Hopefully we see a similar fight in 2nd test at Brisbane when Star Sports brings live streaming and telecast in India with live English and Hindi commentary.

There is a high probability that Michael Clarke may never play again. He has been in and out of the team, infact more out than in due to an injury. He believes he need to be frank enough to accept that his injury may never allow him to play cricket again. He is out of the remainder of this series. Australia has planned to replace two players from the current squad for the next three test matches.

Steven Smith the young 25 year old prolific performer has been elected as Australia's 45th test captain. He will lead the team into the second test at Brisbane where Australia hasn't lost a test since last 26 years.

For India there might be couple of changes in the playing XI. Karn Sharma who couldn't impress much on an Adelaide pitch where counterpart Lyon toon good number of wickets. He might be replaced with experienced Ashwin. Replacing Kohli as the captain, Dhoni may make a comeback. But the news aren't confirmed yet.

Yes the selectors would be highly impressed with Kohli's captaincy and hundreds in each innings, but Dhoni still may make a comeback as the captain. It seems improbable that selectors may take any harsh decision to drop Dhoni from captaincy of test before World Cup 2015.

Virat Kohli is in sparkling form and he seemed like batting at home. He became first overseas player in last 53 years to score a century in both innings in Australia. Cricket fans in India expect loads of runs again from the likes of Pujara, Kohli, Vijay, Rohit Sharma and Dhawan. Gabba would be a pitch where not only the Australian bowlers but also the Indian quickies would enjoy bowling.

Let us see how interesting the secnod test turns out to be. Australia's good record at Gabba is daunting for India but even if they manage to sneak a draw here, that would keep the series alive.
