MS Dhoni has earned a lot of name and fame especially in the ODI format. He has won both big titles of ODI - ICC World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013. Indian team has reached newer heights under his captaincy in limited overs of cricket. But somehow the fans and critics have started feeling that his importance is fading away. He retired recently from test cricket. The team did well in ICC World Cup 2015 group stages but were eliminated in the semi finals. Recently India suffered an ODI series loss against Bangladesh. Its time for Dhoni and his men to pull up the socks and prove their worth.

India have failed in all three departments of cricket in the T20 series. The first match was a high scoring game where Rohit Sharma sparkled with a century. But some poor bowling and fielding took South Africa home. Dhoni's team selection strategy was heavily criticized. The second T20 match brought out a very disappointing performance from the Indian batting line up. The team registered their second lowest T20 total and lost the match to South Africa. The third T20 was washed out at the Eden Gardens due to heavy rain.

Dhoni would like to shuffle the team combination a bit by bringing in Stuart Binny, Harbhajan Singh or Amit Mishra. While Amit and Ashwin can make a lethal combination, Stuart Binny's seaming deliveries can put South Africans under pressure.

Let us see how good the Indian team performs in the ODI series which will be followed by the test series which will consist of four test matches. We will keep you posted with reviews and previews of India vs South Africa series as well as forthcoming series that includes India's tour to Australia, Sri Lanka's tour to India, Asia Cup 2016 and T20 World Cup 2016.
